At the Dubé Pre-Professional Company, we believe in nurturing not only technically strong dancers but also passionate, expressive artists. Our mission is to cultivate young professionals who can take the discipline, creativity, and life skills they develop here and apply them confidently in any career path they pursue.

We strive to create a training environment that challenges dancers to grow into elite-level performers, capable of thriving in collegiate programs, professional dance companies, and beyond. Through intensive study in ballet, modern, and jazz, our dancers gain not only the technical mastery but also the versatility and professionalism needed for success in the industry.

But our mission goes even further. We are dedicated to developing young individuals who are confident, focused, and adaptable, qualities that will serve them both on and off the stage. Whether our dancers go on to perform professionally or enter other fields, they will leave our program with a strong sense of discipline, resilience, and artistry that translates into any career they choose.

Shaping the Future of Dance

  • The Dubé Pre-Professional Company is an elite training program designed for dedicated dancers ages 8–18 seeking to refine their technique, artistry, and performance skills at the highest level. Led by Artistic Director Holly Welpott-Dubé, the program provides comprehensive training in ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, hip hop, and conditioning, preparing dancers for success in collegiate programs, professional companies, and beyond.

  • Company dancers train multiple days per week, perform in group works and featured solos, and compete at select regional and national events. The season also includes masterclasses with acclaimed guest artists, giving dancers access to diverse perspectives and professional insight.

  • With a strong emphasis on technical excellence, performance quality, and professional readiness, the Dubé Pre-Professional Company cultivates dancers who are not only exceptional performers but also disciplined, confident young artists ready for the next stage of their journey.
